The New York Times on Zombies

Yesterday the New York Times reviewed Generation Dead and Brian James' Zombie Blondes!

Read all about it here.

Also, I've added an Interviews section to the links on the right. I appreciate the various interviewers' attempts to make me sound intelligent.

Hi, Dan,

I read this in the Times, very cool.

I saw you mentioned Robert Cormier in an interview. I am guessing you must be the only other person I know that read I am the Cheese. I was completely convinced I made that book up because it seems that no one else has read it.

Great book, although under appreciated.

Hi Erinn!

I'm sorrrreeeee! I don't know when it will be out--probably May or June of next year. Hyperion has done a mock-up of the cover and it is really, really cool--I can't wait! I'm as impatient as you are!

Thanks for your post!

Take care,
Dan

Dan
I just finished reading your book, Generation Dead. I loved it. I couldn't put it down. Although the ending was super sad. I can't wait until the sequel comes out. What is the name of it going to be?

Hello,

First off, I Am the Cheese? Please, amazing book, many people have read it.

Second, Dan, as a Borders employee I get to check out books like a library. I literally read a new book every night and have gone through entire sections. Your book was haunting and beautiful. I can't wait for the story to continue, there were so many open threads. so many issues that didn't appear in the book that I hope you explore them in the next.

I'll happily spread the word of my new undead hero. I'd also kill for an "Open graves, open minds" t-shirt.

I am really looking forward to reading this one of these days. I'm not allowed to buy any more books for awhile, but maybe I will win it over at YA books central!

And getting a mention in the times is amazing - congrats!
